Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025/2026
We have officially opened a new academic year! The ceremonial inauguration for first-year students took place at the Elektronik Cinema. The new students received words of support, motivation, and encouragement from:
- Kamila Dorbach, Director of the Polish Film Institute
- His Magnificence, Rector of the Warsaw Film School, Andrzej Ramlau
- Chancellor of the Warsaw Film School, Maciej Ślesicki
- and our special guest - Jurek Owsiak, social activist and founder of the Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy Foundation, who delivered a captivating inaugural lecture!
The audience enjoyed the graduation film of the 3rd year Acting for New Media students, "We’re Already Grown Up" directed by Robert Wichrowski, followed by the awarding of diplomas to our new graduates.
And, true to tradition, we captured a group photo of our first-year students at the Elektronik Cinema - a tradition we’ve kept alive for 20 years!
The entire ceremony was hosted by Artur Zaborski, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
Every new academic year is a fresh script - full of emotions and unexpected twists. From today on, we’re making this film together!
