Our creators triumph at ОКО – International Ethnographic Film Festival!
“People” (dir. Maciej Ślesicki and Filip Hillesland) have already traveled the world - from major cinemas, through festivals and embassies, all the way to the European Parliament in Brussels
Today, the story of five Ukrainian women fighting to survive in the face of Russian aggression has been recognized once again - the Union of the Ukrainian Film Critics (UUFC) awarded the film the UUFC Prize at ОКО - International Ethnographic Film Festival (North Macedonia) in the OKO Global Fiction section!
That’s not all - the feature-length documentary debut “Flowers of Ukraine”, directed by our graduate Adelina Borets (prod. Gogol Film, Koskino, Gogol Vertigo, DI Factory), returned from the Balkans with the Festival Team Special Prize for Creative Ethnographic Representation!
